Joseph Good was a southern Nevada prospector and cattleman of the El Dorado Canyon mining era whose herds watered at the desert spring that still bears his name as the town of Goodsprings, southwest of Las Vegas.

Peter O'Reilly

Peter O'Reilly was a colonial magistrate and gold commissioner in British Columbia, keeping order at Rock Creek, the Cariboo, Wild Horse Creek and the Big Bend. He later spent 18 years as the province's Indian Reserve Commissioner.

Richard Keys

Richard Keys (also spelled Keyes) was a prospector whose 1853 gold discovery on the Kern River launched the Kern River gold rush in Southern California. The camp of Keysville, founded in 1854, and the Keys Mine both bear his name; little else about his life is recorded.
